I have spent quite a bit of time pouring over many of your blogs, getting lost in your words and your ability to weave a story that one will stick with to see it through, knowing I do not have that within myself to do, almost quit blogging at all because I felt inadequate next to all the wonderful writers I was reading. Then to see the list of those of you who have actually been published, it was just okay wow you are so out of your element here. But I do like to share, and in sharing of course is the desire or rather the longing to be accepted for who I am and for what I write, and the way I write.
So, I am back and will be blogging weekly now, and will blog as I always have from the heart. I hope you enjoy what you are able to get out of my writing but also understand that no one person is loved or enjoyed by all.
Blessings n' hugs

You are so good with your heart and the things you do with it. When I met you for the first time I knew we would be friends for the rest of our lives. You are so much more then a friend to me you are a mom to me. If I didn't have you and my real mother to give me the tough love that I needed I wouldn't the person I am today I give God the most credit. Because he put you into my life I only have very few friends or people that mean the most you are one of those people. If your heart is speak I hope people listen because it is the truth. I love you Momma Julie so much.
ReplyDelete@Patty talk about talking from the heart, thank you sweetie that really touched my heart, I love you too very much ... ♥
ReplyDeleteJust write, you will always get an audience who will appreaciate your thoughts, as much as I did!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely understand what you're feeling and I didn't blog in this group almost all summer because I felt this way too. You write well and your voice is just as important as anyone else's. I now will apply that wisdom to myself.

It is amazing to me that so many who write think they are inadequate. If you felt it, if you 'heard' it in your head and then wrote it down, someone will be inspired in some way by reading it. You may never know who or how OR they may tell you, but it will happen. I love reading your work and hope you will always feel comfortable and accepted here. This is a wonderful group of crazy, loving and supportive people.
ReplyDeleteThat's why I write here. <3
@Claudia thank you sweetie :)
ReplyDelete@Pam I so hope this helps you to take your own advice and apply going to be looking for your blogs :o)
@Jo yep sometimes some of us are little wallflowers when it comes to sharing such a tender part of ourselves, thanks sweetie ♥
Don't ever feel inadequate as a writer! The more you write the better you get. :)

You've always written from the heart and that's the most important thing!
ReplyDelete@Awwsumkitteh thank you I am working on it.
ReplyDelete@Stephtee and you have always been gracious and kind with your words, thanks hon :o) *hugs*
Keep on writing. I felt that way last year. I now know all of us who love to write are as good as those that publish. Stay true to your self and write often.,
ReplyDeleteJul, you have one of the biggest, truest, and most generous hearts of anyone I know. All of that goodness shines in your writing, so reading you is truly a gift, every time.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't matter if you toss out a quick couple of sentences or you find a topic that inspires you to write an in-depth piece--I'm just glad to pop over for a visit and see what pearls of wisdom you have to offer. Keep writing and sharing, please. It's a genuine pleasure to know you and an honor to be your friend.
Oh, and I just want to add that I'm glad your words resonated with Pam. Hers is another voice that I've missed!
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you blogging again. You don't have to be a fancy-schmancy writer to share what's in your heart, my friend.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful post! It clearly underlines how easy it is to just sit down and let whatever comes flow out onto the keyboard!! Happy blogging.

This is a great post Jul :) I had a hard time this week with this topic. If I long for anything--it is a fleeting thing really, nothing that important or signifcant that I would want to exchange what I have now in my life--and all the blessings--for something that is almost unattainable. Anyway--so glad you'll be back blogging now. I look forward to your posts! Cheers, Jenn

So wonderful to see that you're giving this blogging thing a shot. If you're just honest with your feelings and write write write, then what you eventually create will be magic.
